Rotarians will visit sick children at the Salah Children’s Hospital at Broward General and deliver gifts to the children, to try to brighten their day. See Elizabeth or Tod for details. Times posted are estimates and subject to change.
An unlimited amount of our members will be able to present the gifts to the department in the lobby, and up to a maximum number of 10 members may go visit the children in their individual rooms and present gifts to them. The Child Life Program at the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital works with pediatric patients and their families to help them understand and cope with being hospitalized and try to reduce the stress of hospitalization for pediatric patients of all ages. Through the use of play, creative arts and education, Child Life Specialists work to enhance the health and development of the children and help allow the children to relax through play.
