Marilyn Van Pelt
Marilyn has been a resident of Broward County Florida over 40 years. She moved to Broward from her birth city of St. Charles, Missouri known for the Lewis and Clark rendezvous, the First State Capital of Missouri and home to Daniel Boone.
While raising a family of one son and two daughters during a career in Banking and Sales she served as a Girl Scout Leader, PTO President and Broward County School volunteer. She currently serves on the planning committee for Wreaths Across America at Forest Lawn North Memorial Gardens, Pompano, is a volunteer for Broward County Public Schools and Constitution for the People.
Marilyn is a 4th Generation DAR Member, has two daughters who are members and a Granddaughter who is a member of Children of the American Revolution of which she has served as a Senior President in the local Swamp Fox Society. She is currently President of the Broward County Regents Council Daughters of the American Revolution and Honorary Past Regent of Fontenada Chapter in Pompano Beach. She has also served as a Chairman for numerous committees for her Chapter in her 6 year membership with Daughters of the American Revolution.
