June 25, 2013	WEEKLY MEETING PROGRAM - Dr. Justin M. Weatherall is an Orthopedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He then attended the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Weatherall completed his Internship and Residency at New York University Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. During residency he also trained at Bellevue Hospital, the Manhattan VA Hospital, and Jamaica Hospital in New York City. During his residency he spent two months in Tampa, Florida at Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s hospital working with fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons. During residency Dr. Weatherall received extensive training in Total Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, and Orthopedic Trauma. After completing residency Dr. Weatherall completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina at the OrthoCarolina O.L. Miller Foot and Ankle Institute. While there he trained with foot and ankle fellowship trained surgeons Drs. Robert Anderson, Bruce Cohen, W. Hodges Davis, and Carroll Jones. Under the tutelage of those surgeons he received extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and serves as Team Physician for Cardinal Gibbon’s High School.
