Rotary Service Event – Rise Against Hunger (RAH) Meal Packing

- We purchase and package non-perishable meals which are delivered to areas in famine or hunger crisis.
- We packaged over 12k meals in several hours three year ago, over 15k meals two years ago and over 24k meals last year [teaming with another club].
- Since its inception, RAH has packaged well over 225,000,000 meals that have been sent to 65 countries.
- Meals are often distributed through schools to ensure that kids are also attending school and obtaining an education.
- The project promotes education, encourages children to attend school, improves the health and nutrition of students, addresses gender inequalities, spurs economic growth, combats child labor, and creates a platform for tackling global issues.
- Important: We need at least 50 people at the event!
