Many students receive free breakfast and lunch in school. These free meals are the only meals many of these students receive. Pack a Sack bridges the gap for these children. Pack a Sack provides a weekly back pack with food so that children have food to eat over the weekend. Hungry kids can not concentrate, do homework or be successful in school.
Our Rotary club is paying for the food for some of these children, helping pack the backpacks and delivering the the back packs. The information is posted on the 15th of each month, but the project is taking place thoughout the month. See Barbara Gobbi for details.
