Don C. Powell, a native of South Carolina, is a career HR professional going back with real life experiences to the Norma Rae days in the North Carolina Textile Industry where her husband was one of his employees and she, in her post celebrity status, was a perpetual applicant.
Over a 35-year career in HR he worked for a number of renowned manufacturing organizations known for their prowess in Employee & Labor Relations where he developed his own expertise in this area of HR. He is also exceptionally credentialed in the minimization of 3rd party intervention, applicant profiling /selection and creating compensation systems based on operation results.
His past employers include firms where, during his tenure, the number one business objective was not to have a union campaign and the Company which has had more union decertification elections and decertified more unions than any Company in the history of America.
Most recently he completed his career following a 12-year stint working for a European based manufacturer, where he was at various times, responsibility for all aspects of Employee and Labor Relations for numerous manufacturing, logistics, administrative operations and a nationwide sales force in the North America.
