FLITE Center guides those aging out of foster care and other vulnerable youth for successful transition to independence through education, employment, housing health and wellness, and system of care coordination. This project supports teenage mothers by providing them with gear and
supplies to help them with their children.

Rotary Service Projects for 2024-2025:
Bikes for Humanity – February 2025
Donating over 400 bicycles to people in rural communities in Africa where the people have no means of transportation – the transportation will enable them to obtain schooling, medical service and sell their own wares – and can allow them to more than double their income.
Rise Against Hunger – May 2025
Our club purchases supplies and creates over 15,000 meals in 2 hours – meals provided to people in an area of the world where people are dying every day of starvation – meals are delivered to children through schools and the children are weighted monthly to ensure they are receiving the meals
The Dictionary Project – 2024-25
One thousand and six hundred (1,600) Student Dictionary-Gazetteer’s were labeled for distribution to third (3rd) Graders in Title One schools of Broward County by club Rotarians, in just two hours! Our Rotarians have in the past five years distributed over 10,000 dictionaries to students.
Food For Thought – Bi-Weekly August 2024 – May 2025
Each week our Rotary club delivers bags of food and snacks to children at Liberty Elementary School who would not have anything to eat on the weekend otherwise. In addition, we give boxes of food for the families for Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break and the summer.
Pitch Night – October 30, 2024
The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale/Cypress Creek will host an event that gives organizations an opportunity to “pitch” their projects or organization to our panel of professionals.
Broward County Beach Clean Up – September 2025
Protecting the environment is one of Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus. Our Rotary Club is dedicated to this cause and will be organizing regular beach cleanups on Broward County beaches. Join us in our efforts to keep our shores pristine and contribute to a healthier, cleaner environment for all.
bCalmed – April 2025
bCalmed provides the bcalmed bag free of charge to any cancer patient who desires a comfortable and convenient way to store surgical drains. Join us as we help package kits for cancer patients.

Women at the Well – December 20, 2024
The Women at the Well-Broward, Inc.’s mission is to teach teen girls positive life skills and provide tools for college and career readiness and aid returning citizens(women) back into the community while reducing prison recidivism and improving public safety. Each holiday season, our club helps distribute toys and meals to families of children whose mothers are incarcerated.
BSO Backpacks for School – January 2025
A free, family friendly event for businesses and residents to distribute backpacks filled with school supplies. Our club will purchase and stuff backpacks for distribution.
Broward Partnership – Monthly August 2024 – July 2025
Broward Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the largest comprehensive homeless services provider in Broward County. At this service project our members work in the kitchen preparing and distributing meals to unhoused individuals.
Morning Day Community Solutions – March 2025
Founded in 2010, Morningday Community Solutions connects South Florida charities with new and like-new household goods, hygiene products, mattresses, furniture, and more for a fraction of the retail price. We will be helping with warehouse assistance, by organizing their inventory after receiving deliveries from their partners.

Our meetings are fun and engaging. We have speakers who educate us on the economy, our community, arts, environment and a variety of other topics!
