The Rotary Foundation
The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International and supports humanitarian projects that improve lives around the world.
Through the generosity of Rotary members and supporters, the Foundation helps fund initiatives focused on health, education, peacebuilding, and economic development.

Creating Change Around the World
The Rotary Foundation supports projects that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
Rotary initiatives focus on key areas such as:
promoting peace and conflict resolution
fighting disease and improving healthcare
providing clean water and sanitation
supporting education and literacy
growing local economies
protecting the environment
One of Rotary’s most recognized efforts is the global campaign to eradicate polio. Rotary has helped reduce polio cases worldwide by more than 99 percent through partnerships with organizations such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Through these initiatives, Rotary clubs across the world work together to create sustainable and long-term solutions to global challenges.
Supporting the Rotary Foundation
Members of the Rotary Club of Ft. Lauderdale/Cypress Creek support the Rotary Foundation through fundraising, participation in global initiatives, and contributions that help fund humanitarian grants.
These grants allow Rotary clubs to support projects that:
